Stamped Colored Concrete

How is Stamped Concrete Formed and what are the Advantages of Stamped Concrete

Stamped Concrete has many advantages over Brick Pavers. The first advantage is that not only can you choose from over a hundred colors but it also comes in dozens of patterns and designs. Stamped Concrete is also very low maintenance with no weeds, no grass, and no moss.

How is Stamped Concrete Formed?

First Day
1. Framing of your Patio, Walk, Drive etc.
2. Adding a stone base and compacting,
3. 3/8 Concrete Reinforcing Rod with 2' x 2' spacing for strength.
4. Before pouring Concrete Integral Color is added and then the concrete is poured using a six bag concrete mixture.
5. Before stamping release agent is spread on the top and is then stamped with the pattern of your choice.
6. Concrete is left to cure for 24 hours.

Second Day
1. First the forms are stripped.
2. Next the Concrete is Diamond Saw Cut.
3. Last your Concrete is power washed and left to dry.

Third Day
1. On the last day we apply Super Diamond Clear finish with Sure Grip.
2. After drying for 24 hours normal foot traffic is ok for patios and walkways.
3. If used for a Driveway or a Hot Tub the Concrete needs to cure for 15 days.
